| Re: Windows 7 Thread and FAQ The computer I was thinking about putting Windows7 on has 384mbs (I think) of RAM on it and a 902Mhz P4 cpu... lol
XP service pack 3 runs pretty slow on it. The original XP works run fine on it though. It's probably just all of the security software that comes with it though. |

| Re: Windows 7 Thread and FAQ The CPU doesnt even meet the minimal requirements. There is no way to even attempt it. Forget about the RAM the CPU isnt even close.

| Re: Windows 7 Thread and FAQ You can get into Safe Mode in XP. WHen the bootloader for the 2 OS's comes up, and you choose XP, QUICKLY hit F8 to get to the XP boot menu. Should be able to choose Safe Mode from there.

| Re: Windows 7 Thread and FAQ It doesn't work that way because its Win7's bootloader, not Xp's bootloader . You have to choose to boot to XP first, then quickly press F8 to get to XP's advanced menu.

| Re: Windows 7 Thread and FAQ No, F8 is to get to the advanced boot menu for any Windows OS. You know, to get to safe mode, etc.
