| Re: Windows 7 Thread and FAQ Windows 7 House Party Packs Arrive
The Windows 7 House Party packages we told you about two weeks ago are being delivered across the country. Kits include items like party bags, balloons, streamers, cards, a poster and puzzle and various free trial offerings for your guests.
I found it a bit odd that the company handling the distribution of the party packs simply slapped a shipping label on an open package and sent it. I’ve checked with all the people in the forums that are holding Windows 7 parties and many of their packages seemed to have been shipped the same way. I bring this up because you will notice that there is no copy of Windows 7 in the picture above. The guest of honor is missing. If your party pack has arrived, let us know what is in your box in the comments section. |

| Re: Windows 7 Thread and FAQ I have been hearing that the copy of windows 7 that comes with these packs only permits one install meaning if you ever have to format you are out of luck because it is not a full license. At least that is what I am hearing

| Re: Windows 7 Thread and FAQ One install, I was almost picked for the party but messed up and couldn't get the website setup in time because of going out of town but fortunately got the preorder in when it was half price so not a big loss, however if it is a one install that would not be good. Could of used it on my second system but my niece ocationally comes over to use it so she may get it for hey colledge discount because her new laptop came with the free upgrade so I think I could have it on the second system for $40 I think.

At least that is what I am hearing | That is not true. Even for a OEM license you can reinstall as many times as you want on the same machine. That is a single use license. There is no way Microsoft would limit this to a single install. It is a OEM license from what my sources say, which means that it is for a single machine, but you can format and reinstall on that machine millions of times if you want and never have to worry about it not activating it.

| Re: Windows 7 Thread and FAQ The party pack is just a bunch of stuff you are supposed to use to throw the "Ultimate" party. Streamers and some games to play at the party. Stupid stuff really.
