Windows 2000 or Windows XP

The infamous Questions comes up again. I have two computers one is using xp and the other 2k my daily user is using windows 2k, the reeason being is because ive heard from people that it is faster, but it doesnt seem to be much quicker. In addition I have been having some support issues with windows 2k. Which do you guys prefer/reccomend

I did like and use windows 2000 till about 2002, then I got XP prof. I like it much better, basically it iis the same being NT. I like the look of XP and the networking..etc.
If you do decide to make the win 2k pc into an xp machine do NOT do an upgrade.

why. how can i make the 2k machine xp without losing all my data, or can you?

I also prefer XP over 2K, You can upgrade if you want tell them to shove their taboos but it's best to do a fresh install. Backup your data before you install XP.
