Hello to everybody. In our lab we are a bit behind in our software updates , thus we are currently using Windows 2000 operational systems. The lab has 12 clients and they are all part of a domain.
Here is the problem:

We changed the lab's server but instead of the initial domain name, we used another one. So we had to put the clients in the new domain. Firstly I removed them from the old domain and made them part of an unexisting workgroup. It asked for the administrative user name and password in order to do the change and I entered it. I rebooted the machines, entered the administration password in order to login and made them part of the new domain. Everything worked ok in all the machines instead of one.
In this particular one, after the reboot it does not recordnize the administration password, nor any of the simple user's passwords. It seems as if all the accounts were deleted from that machine but I never touched them.

How is this possible and how can I login into that silly machine again? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

It is very possible that the User Accounts got corrupted with the domain switch. As to how to fix it. Dont think there is going to be a easy answer for that. Maybe try a restore point.
