bigjack Newb Techie Join Date: Nov 2009 Posts: 9	Win7 64 bit - low FPS spikes? Installed win7 64bit, installed the mobo driver and GPU driver without a problem. On XP 32 bit i did not have a problem playing TF2 or CSS on high settings. Now with win7 64 bit i will get a low FPS spike(20-30 fps) every 5 seconds or so. I bump down the settings to medium and its better. Im running a Asus 8800GT and EVGA 680I. I tried a older GPU driver and had the same problem. I realize win7 could be taking a bit more power to run, but tf2/CSS are generally not that much of a performance seeking game in today's world, why are they sucking me down? Other than that everything is working fine.
