Default Win2K Pro or WinXP Pro?

Hello guys,

Newbie here. I was just wondering, prior to gaming performance, what would be a better operating system to run, Win2k Pro or WinXP Pro?

I know that Windows XP Pro has its new themes and such and i thought that maybe stuff like that would slow it down ... ?

What do you guys think?

Thanks for the replies!

XP Pro is better for gaming. Get XP Pro.
I've heard of lots of problems with 2k and games.

2k does take less resources, but it wasn't built with gaming in mind. XP was built to merge the 9x line which was made for gaming and the NT line which was made for stability. Get XP Pro.
