Good evening,
Due to a limited capacity IDE HDD running with a SATA DVD re-writer, IDE CD writer and IDE re-writer, I had to replace the HDD with a bigger capacity SATA HDD in position 0 and the IDE HDD in position 1 (the IDE HDD does NOT have an OS installed). Since the change-over, when the SATA DVD re-writer is in circuit, the system fails to start - when the 'beads' run across the bottom of the screen, they continue running and the PC fails to start. When, however, I remove the SATA DVD re-writer, the system starts and functions perfectly. Please, can anyone help me resolve this problem.
Thanks in anticipation.
