Default Win XP pro & 98 Vers Win XP pro & Win 2000 dual boot

I am trying to decide which dual boot combo would be best for
me. I am looking at Win XP pro & 98 combo or Win XP pro & Win 2000 combo on my Athlon 1000meghertz machine. I use MS
office & visual Studio 6 programs. Planning on using Visual
studio net but I think XP can handle that. I don't do any
gaming. I might pick up some old programs from a yard
sale and try them on rare occasion. I do pick up old yard
sale HP printers and use them until the ink cart run out.
I do use access and excel a lot. I do use ebay turbolister.
On rare occasions, I might pick up an old versons of office or something at a yard sale and look at that. Can anyone compare the above dual boot combos and let me know which they think is more pratical.
thank you,
doug,

an XP and 98 dual boot is really only practical if you do gaming like I do. That's the system I have, and if I can't get any of my older games to run on XP, they usually run off of 98.

There's no need to make a dual boot. XP will do fine.
