Hi everyone. I got my free win 7 upgrade today. yeahhh loving it so far. BUT all my original files are missing. Originally I partitioned my hard drive into C and D. C Drive for all my software and windows, and D Drive for all my work related graphic files

anyway...

the upgrade wiped pretty much everything. At least I think so. .the directories are all still in my D drive, but there no files. Or are there?


actually I know they got to be somewhere. the D partion is originally 138 GB large, but i only have 82 GB left. Now I know a bunch of empty directories don't take almost 60GB of space.

same for my C Drive. I betcha my old software installation is somewhere...I just can't see it.

Is there a way to see if they are somehow hidden?
I did change my folder options.

FOUND IT!!! I wish I would look in more details before posting this. SORRY!
In case someone else needs to know...all missing files are in the $ directories.
