I Just got win2000 pro. I do not have the instructions because i bought it OEM... But i thought that win2000 could boot straight from the CD and did not need a floppy disk... My computer when it starts up it says "searching CD for boot record....... Not found" and then reapeats.... I do not know why it will not find the CD any help would be appreciated. THANKS- Mike

Are you trying to install it on a new computer or a PC that already as an existing OS?
