Default Why cant I erase a dvd+r rw

I have a maxell 4.7 dvd+r rw dvd that I made into XP professional. I want to erase it now so I can put something else on there. But everytime I try to erase it, it tells me it can not be erased. The disc does not support it, but it clearly says RW on it WTH!!!!

Did you finalize the disc after you burned it in XP?

an OS, ISO automaticly finalizes the Disc.. otherwise you wouldn't be able to boot from it

Ah didn't catch that he burned XP onto it; I thought OP had said that he made it in XP Pro.

Since you burned a ISO and finalized teh disk, you will need something like Nero InCD to erase it.
