Default What programs does EVERY PC need?
I was wondering which programs you think every computer should have on it. Such as Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware, and other software.

Well this is all based on user preference more than anything. I prefer to use NOD32 for Anti-Virus. Windows Defender Beta 2 for Anti-Spyware. Zone Alarm Pro for Firewall. Other than that it is things such as Opera 9 Beta. Firefox, IE7, Adobe Creative Suite, Gamegain, Alcohol 120%, Nero 7, AMP Font Viewer. It all depends on what you do with your PC.

There is no set programs you need, other than a few. If you're into gaming, you'll have lots of gaming applications. If you're into video editing, you'll have lots of video editing programs. Etc...

Why does someone need Yahoo Messanger? I dont and will not use that. So that one is pointless. Same for Firefox. If they prefer IE or Opera over FIrefox then they wouldnt need that.

I will agree with WinRar and CCleaner. Those are very useful.
