Default What is a good program to restrict internet access?

what is a good program (possibly free) to restrict internet access?

I was messing with my downstair comp. I realize that my kid and or their friends were typing **** and other things in the search bar. they have been looking at porn obviously.

Uhm, only thing I could think of is having a very short screensaver timing with password protection when it deactivates, and there are programs that block certain sites but I don't use any of them, so I couldn't tell you what to get. I mean, ****, all I do is chat and play games.

I know Norton internet security does it, but I don't use norton anymore

I would block things out at the router level, i can set keywords that the router wont do anything with.
