is it a windows crack? thats what it sounds like.

about the error i don't know when i used them (cause my cd key was used to many times (sh**ty HP and reinstalling) i never got one

try looking around for a copy of windows 2000 thats cracked or get a corperate eddition of XP (thats the best choice)

I persume he's refering to that actual WGA update from microsoft, I suggest you email microsoft's support quoting the error code. It might well be your firewall or some other security software so try disabling them first (briefly).

If it is the MS one, don't bother it is MS trying to keep a tight hook on you. Go to custom download and untick it and just get the updates. If it is a crack do it by hand but don't ask here.
