this is a really weird problem that i need help with and i have no clue waht to do.. i open up the volume controls and i drag the volume o the top.. and then it just slides to the buttom... ne suggestions would be helpful

warez- no.. well if i hold the slider at teh top yes...

tall dude - its a laptop so im guessing onboard

k ill try taht.. if i can figure out which they are.. sound i feel is a problem to find the driver.. ne suggestions??? there are soo many things under the sound device in the hardware section of the system

what kind of sound do you have? do you know the name? if you dont, download sisoft sandra and it will tell you. probably got realtek ac97, thats the most common
