Microsoft finally released today the first Service Pack to version 2003 of its Visual Studio .NET product, long after the product's release and ever after its successor's release, version 2005. Since it has been a silent release, nothing has been said about what will happen next with it, and no mention of a possible second one has been done.

The Service Pack appears as a traditional service pack, including as usual improvements to the stability and reliability, along with a bug fixes rollup and improvements to the overall security of the program. Its total size is 156MB
