Default Vista or XP

I'm buying a new PC. Which OS is better? I've had XP for the past 5 years.

Vista SP1 even though people complain about Vista, Sp1 does address a lot of problems

tough call. however, nobody was happy about xp, at first. i'd go ahead and get onboard with vista. odds are it will fully replace xp in the near future. probly best to go ahead and get used to it now. the sp1 really did fix a lot of issues.

just remember to install OS and SP with no more than 2g of ram. you can pop those other 2 back in as soon as you're done

Default Re: Vista or XP

Vista works perfectly fine if you have enough computer to handle it. The biggest thing is getting used to the layout compared to XP.
