vista programs
i had an older beta of vista built 5308....but it wouldn't let me install a lot of the windows XP compatible programs. Does the new beta allow all those programs?

Try it and find out.
What are they, as I will be installing Vista Beta 2 when I get my new hard drive (tuesday) if you don't get a reply before then.

you should try using the compatibility mode feature for xp when on vista
