Default Vista not able to download drivers?

Past few days vista won't install my hardware drivers. My pen drives don't work, and I have a PS2 to USB keyboard adapter that won't work. These things don't have sites where I can download drivers. Is it just that vista's driver support is that bad? My pen drive use to work which is why I question it. Any ideas?

Have you restarted recently? Have you had any other hardware changes? Are you sure the device drivers are all correct?

There was a update released Tuesday that has been known to cause a few issue. But nothing like what you have described.

Restart and see if it helps.

slight chance...you might have to enable ps2/usb (legacy) support in bios?
