Default USB Flash Memory Drive

I'm kinda new to flash memory drive and my computer don't have support yet so I need help doing this.

I just brought the Flash memory drive and I don't know how to install it. All I did is to click on control panel, then add new hardware, then USB Disk 2.0. But when I try to install it or update driver. It says "Windows was unable to locate a driver for this device"

My first question is how do I install the Flash memory drive properly.

And second one is that if I do install it, how do I create another driver. I need a driver so I could save all my files onto a flash memory drive.

what operating system are you using? Window xp and Vista should recognize it and install the appropriate drivers for it when you plug it in.

check this link Windows 98 USB Mass Storage Device Drivers you probably do not have usb2.0 on a computer of that vintage. It will work just at usb1.1 speeds.
