Default Upgrading Firefox

just wondering, when upgrading firefox, is it best to uninstall the old version first, then install the new one? i ask because in "add and remove programs" the update is listed as a seperate item. surely it's *slightly* better to just have it as one whole program?

any thoughts?

just download the upgrade, and upgrade it.
doesn't make to much of a difference. (none that i have found honestly)
