yes service pack 1 is faster although I use service pack 2 because I prefer added security

.

I thought the WGA doesn't stop necessary downloads? so suprised they dont allow someone to download service pack 2 which patches a lot of holes.

All Iv found WGA stop downloading is the extras like media player 10 or .net framework.
