smurph True Techie Join Date: Nov 2004 Posts: 195	unwanted ActiveX pop-ups A friend is having trouble with repeated ActiveX pop-ups when viewing most web pages, and when tried to install latest version it fails - I have also tried in vain! He has latest XPsp3, uses free AVG and Windows Firewall. I think he may need to upgrade his security package (I use Trend Micro), as this maybe the result of virus/spyware! Any opinions or ideas please? __________________ Intel Pentium 4 3.0Ghz, Mobo: ASRock P4VM890 c/w onboard Graphics & Sound, 960MB DDR RAM, HDDs 320 (SLAVE) & 160Gb, PSU: ADT-400, Monitor 19" CRT Using: WinXPsp3 with Trend Micro Internet Security
