No my computer don't have a floppy drive

So, can I copy it on CD and use CD instead of floppy ? Would it work ?

It wont work. Not if you put it on another CD. Because you cant interrupt the XP install and put in another CD and then try to continue the install. IT wont work.

You will have to slipstream the SATA drivers onto the XP disc using nlite and burn a bootable disc that way.

Thank you all for your help

It works for me when I change the RAID to IDE emulation from the BIOS. That will allow regular XP to install without the SATA drivers.

This is really wierd, every seagate/WD drive ive ever sued never required drivers only if ur using raid, drivers for the raid controller. Maybe i problem with the HDD itself?

ahhh, sorry i see, makes sense since driver are only needed for raid.
