i have downloaded TightVNC to control my brothers computer from my own, but i do not have a clue how to set it up !?

i have installed it on my own computer.. but do i have to install it on the computers that i wish to connect to?

could someone give me a step by step if poss?

you need to install the client on his computer and the viewer on you computer. then type in his ip in the viewer and boom.

Ok, so what file is the client!! or do i have to download this seperate?

the client should b the file that you installed on your computer.

There's two thing you need to know, the server and the viewer (client). If you want to control your brother's computer, you install the server on his computer and you install the viewer(client) on your computer.
