Default Taskbar won't get out of my way...

I have a weird taskbar problem (XP Home). I always keep my taskbar on auto-hide, but occasionally it will stop hiding, and the only way I've found to get it to go back to hiding is to restart. This tends to happen after I do something that hogs a lot of memory, or if I run a program with an infinite loop by accident. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Nope, taskbar isn't locked. And nothing else is frozen, just the taskbar.

are you getting VM low errors? make sure nothing in you TSR is not leaking. Could be something not killing itself correctly. Is it ONLY during mem intensive points, or has it happened at other times? Are other windows present or does this also happen on the desktop when everything is closed down (and haven't been running any apps., you just showed up and this happened). Pretty much trying to figure out if this has ever 'just happened' when nothing was running and you didn't just close anything out.

Did you try beating it to submission? Sometimes a good a$$ whiping is all it needs...
