Print Screen a button on your keyboard

commonly found in the upper right hand side. My happens to be found between the insert and pause keys.

I remember the days of taking screenshots of my friends desktops and then making it their background and then removing their icons and watching them click 100 times before they realize that somone screwed up their computer.

if you only want to capture the application, press ALT + Print Screen. That will only capture the active window. Helpful when you don't want too much stuff...
