i dont mind having it installed,as long as the firewall blocks it from connecting
lately sygate has poping up alot asking to allow,because the progaram has changed.

any advice to stop that?
its as anoying as using IE and having pop ups.

Why dont you just remove the program

Simply uninstall gator if present in add or remove programs.
Otherwise use spybot S & D.

i knew how to remove adware a few years ago.
that wasn't my question.i was asking how to block and stop asking to allow when a program(gator) keeps changing.

if it really bothered me i would use a crack or buy the program that installed gator,but its not worth it.
