hi, all of a sudden when i installed Windows 2000 Professional my pc had worked fine untill i shut it down went out for abit, then when i had switched it back on a Blue screen Appeared saying this:

KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDELED "

I have no idea What this is ( By the way im in Safe mode and it works fine )

i just googled ur problem, not the entire thing but similar, this is what i got You receive a "STOP 0x0000001E" error after you install security update MS05-018 on a Windows 2000-based computer to unistall the patch go to add/remove programs then on the top of the box is a checkbox that says show updates, scroll to the update and just uninstall it. do this in safe mode. This might not resolve it because like i said it is a similar problem not the same.
