no i didnt get it going as yet i meant the disk works in another pc
i havent attempted that prog u told me to try as yet was catching up on some much needed rest
That one i dont think is possible. I think the drives have to be the same exact size to do RAID. Since RAID is just taking the information and sharing it between the 2 drives and making it seem as 1. I would personally recommend agains this. If 1 drive fails or you have a problem and have to format and re-install you have to do it to both drives. If you just leave then as drives in non RAID config you can just partition them and get better results should problems arise.

OK THEN SO RAID IS OUTTA THE QUESTION THERES MY FIRST PROBLEM FIXED,BUT NEEDLESS TO SAY THERES STILL A PROB,
WITHOUT THE RAID AND 2 SATA DRIVES STILL GET THE SAME ERROR MSG
Okay try disabling 1 of the SATA drives. From there see if you can install XP onto the other. That way we can start to eliminate some of the issues that might be there. Either with the drives themselves or with the XP burn that you have.
