Startup Problem!!!!!

When I startup it doesn't go 2 the boot or windows thing, its starts on welcome and goes to my desktop, I tried not starting anything but that did nothing. Anything else!!!

Is this something that just started? It sounds like it is hibernating instead of shutting down. What OS are you using?

Goto the control panel>power options>hibernate> uncheck the enable hibernation box. Then restart.

Lets backup a bit here.
when you say "it doesn't go to the boot or window thing" can you be more specific about what the windows "thing" is and what you mean by "boot"
Do you mean the boot options screen where it asks you how you want to boot the comp. (eg. safe mode, safemode with networking, normal)

do u kno where its the bakc screen and it loads, and then the windows screen where the blue thing goes across, none of that comes up and when i hit f8 when i boot the comp frezes
