Default Speeding Up Computer?

Here is my concept of speeding up computer:

1) Spybot Scan
2) nod 32 scan
3) registry mechanic scan
4) defrag
5) fix msconfig start items

anything else I'm missing?

Computer ridicoulusly slow
Windows Vista 64-bit slows down after night?
