Default Is something wrong with my Hard drive?

So when i open my computer it only says hardrive has 127gb but its a 500gb hard drive in my bios it shows its 500gb also. Anyone care to explain this to me.

Do you have hibernation disabled? Do you have system restore off? Do you have shadow copies off?

update your xp to sp2

sounds like that 130gb hdd IDE barrier thing, if it's a ide hdd

I thought that as well. Till i saw that he is running Vista. That 137GB Barrier hasnt been around since XP SP2. Vista doesnt have it.
