My family is remodelling the back patio this summer, and I'm trying to make a 3D replica of what we have right now, and what it will look like after wards.

I'm looking for a software that can do what I need and isn't TOO hard to learn. I don't know if Maya and 3DS Max are good for this, but I've seen them a few times and tried to use them, but are way complicated for me.

3ds max is an awesome program!! i love it but yeah its very difficult to learn. you could try sumthing like pro desktop or autocad i know they are meant to be quite good (autocad being better)

AutoCAD will do stuff that I need? I thought it was for building things from metal with a machine or whatever.
