That is a device driver error. It is caused by a updated decive driver that is unstable.

I have gotten that after i updated both my Video and sound card drivers. They were both Beta drivers. So either one could have caused the problem.

Either you just installed a new piece of hardware or you just updated a driver recently. uninstall whatever driver you just updated and download the latest one from the manufacturer website.

I would perform a system restore then attempt to update the components 1 at a time

nononon i reformatted recently, not because of this issue. its been happening since before the reformat. it might be because of my display drivers? i'll update and then see.
