I used bitcomet and forwared my listen port ( 21656 ) on my router and firewall. I got Utorrent and made the port 21656 but the speeds are SOOO slow. like 3kbs MAX. The ports and still forwarded the same and all though?
Second are you sure there are enough seeders feeding the file.
3rd try Azurues. It is just as good as BitComet but faster with the downloads. This is from personal experience. I used BC myself but now switched as Azureus works much faster and connect to more seeds.

Well it could just be your router or firewall is blocking the traffic. Do you run Windows Firewall or a different one? Is your router setup correctly to allow these ports to have traffic? Is the application set up to allow for more traffic then you are getting?
