This is beyond fixing anymore. If you have replaced the files yet you still get the error it is beyond a registry fix anymore. You can try Eusing Registry Repair or Registry Crawler. But at this point i would say backup format and reinstall.

Did you replace that file? It was one on the list.

I downloaded and replaced it, but it is a different version.

I was getting a "cannot find file" error when I would try to do it from the disk. I am assuming I was doing something wrong.

Well unless you can find the exact version you need to match your OS then i do not think it can be replaced.

Can you give me the exact line I would use to get it off the cd, and copy it in?

And, do you have any clue about why it will not allow me to connect my second hard drive?

*sigh*

I figured out why it won't work. I have to reinstall.

I get to make all those reg. edits again, and reconfigure everything. Oh well...

Thanks Mak, you helped quite a bit. You got me to the point were I was able to backup my stuff.

Edit: Apparently not. I have Windows booting correctly, but not when I plug in my storage drive. I guess it thinks that it is an active drive to boot from. I get this error(after describing my motherboard)
Code:
RPL-ROM-ADR: 0050 8DCB AA22
RPL-ROM-IRQ: 10
RPL-ROM-EE00 (Maybe 'OO', I'm not sure.)

RPL-ROM-FFC: (Here, it counts from 0-50, then says "DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER")
Any tips on this?

From what I can find, it cannot find a boot disk, and is trying to boot from network card. However, it only does this when I have two hard drives in. It boots Windows just fine when it is only that hard drive.

That looks like a IRQ error.

I dont know what to tell you. It is your system which is plaged by errors starting with the boot.ini and getting worse from there. Like i said it looks like a IRQ error. That does not mean it is. Is have not seen your logs i have not seen your dump files so i can not tell you what it is or what is going on.

At this point all I can say is that this system will continue to fight you. My best suggestion. Backup and reinstall. It will be less issues.

I did.

I can boot Windows just fine, when it is only that drive. I only have a problem when I plug in the second drive.

Have you tried different cables? Have you checked your master/slave settings? Have you checked your jumper settings?
