Unhappy Shortcuts to NAV and NSW not working

Hi,

First post. Hope I don't confuse anyone.

OS Win 98

Uninstalled NSW 2002 and installed NSW 2004.
Desktop shortcut not working to NSW.
Go to C:\program files\NSWfolder and find no shortcut icon.
I can get all UTILITIES to work by going to Start Menu\programs\NSW folder\Utilities.
One button checkup works. Live update works.
Can not bring up NAV screen. Open C:\program files\NSW\NAV and click on NAVAPW.32 and get message "not a valid win 32 app"
Reinstalled 3 times.
Hope I explained this ok.
Thanks.

I had problems with NSW also, I unstalled it and installed NAV 2002,
never looked back.
