| I have been working on a friends system, and it is the weirdest thing, I tried to install WinXP Pro on to the system, and right after reading the files, it gives me a BSOD with SESSION3_INITIALIZATION_ERROR. Now, I used the same disk on a different system (Older ABIT KV8-MAX3), but used an IDE drive instead of a SATA, and it installed just fine. Then on this same system, I put the SATA drive into it, and got the BSOD and SESSION3 error. OK, figured is that the floppy with the SATA/RAID Drivers are needed, so I did this and used a floppy. F6 and loaded the drivers and…BSOD!!! I took this SATA to another system, and it could see the drive so I did a fresh format, and tried again… and … BSOD!! When I look at the BIOS and POST screens, it shows the drive, yet WinXP can’t install to it. Can anyone give me some ideas what to do?? Am I over looking something? |
