Yes, just tried to install it, but can't. Don't have SP1a nor SP2. But I have the older patch installed.

Guess I am using a pirated copy
But I wouldn't install it anyways if I could. Been running Windows like this for years. Never had any problems.

well with the system your running anyways, it probably wouldnt run to smooth....you can slipstream sp2 in a pirated copy....Ive done this and I use it

It would run fine with my specs, I'm sure. It's not the system in my sig that I am using.
But why would I install SP2? All it does is make my system slower, probably, and more secure.

well you said more secure so thats good....I dont see it slowing down system unless you have to little memory......

Yes, but my system runs fine this way. Only downside some patches cannot be installed.

I have the patch made by that guy installed. I am not worried. According to Microsofts stupid warnings I should have been infected and hacked a million times by now not having any service packs. Well, I am not..., so...
