Default Router problem

I have a Speedtouch 780WL router and Windows XPpro/SP2 fully updated.

My normal download speed is around 10 Mb/sec from Bulldog.

A curious situation arises when going into standby or hibernate.

When coming out of either I find that the download speed has come down to 4 MB/sec or less.

If I either re-boot or stop and restart the router I get back my normal download speed

Can anyone suggest what's going on, please

You can try sleep mode instead of hibernate so that you stay connected.

Ok problem solved. It was due to Nero 7.9.6.0 and Nero admitted that there was a problem, offered a complete unistallation process and asked to install version 7.10.1 and as far as I can tell the problem has vanished
