Does anyone know how I can repair a large 700MB rar file which has 1 or 2 files corrupted? I've tried using the repair option in winrar but I find that only works in 1 in 10 cases and has not worked for many of my current corrupt rars.

I've also tried using Advanced RAR repair with no success at all, as that program is useless. With so many millions of people downloading media in RAR format I would've thought there'd be more fixes for corrupt files.

lol 1 word Redownload... there are ways but its quicker to download again

Yea, I dont know if you can repair a RAR file, its usually a problem either in the download or in the compression. I woudl either redownload or lok for an uncompressed version of the file.

NvidiaDude, I can't redownload because I have a download limit which gets used up very fast 40GB per month.

40 gigs is nothing especially for an entire month!!lol..I download about 12GB a day..wont get into details ;-)
