i just reformatted my hard drive it was orignally named c: drive but now is named f: drive and all of my stuff is installing to my flash drive witch is no named c: instead of f: as it was before i formatted my hard drive. can this be fixed??? and if i reformat it how can i change this??

Stupid XP Installation issue gone bad

As stated in that thread. A reinstall will be your best bet. You just need to start the install from boot not from within Windows. If you must delete the partition you are going to install to and create it again.
