No it is not safe. Keyloggers are never good. they take every keystoke you make and then send that data to the person who wants it. If this is you who wants to install it it is unwise.

Keyloggers are the 2nd worse thing with Root Kits being the worst.

Well not all key loggers are bad, you can get some that are only designed to log the keystrokes of your own PC to monitor what people are getting up to. Thats what they were designed for in the first place, not for any harm. But be very careful when downloading any keylogger because as Mak said, they can be very bad news.

All keyloggers are bad. Ther are plenty of others ways to “track” a person on your PC. Even on your own personal PC if you feel the need for a keylogger there are bigger issues at hand that need to be dealt with that no keylogger will help you solve.

Hello,

We are not here to help support people trying to spy on someone else. There are plenty of methods to get the information you are looking for other than thru a keylogger.

Browser history for example. We do not know the purpose of why you want to use it. Like to get a credit card number or bank account info from parents or to just spy on someone to see if they are cheating or what not.

In any case we can not offer this type of support. Many of these tactics are shady and some are even illegal which makes it against our forum rules.

I am sorry but there is no answer that we can provide for you. Even if you give information as to why you want to use the keylogger it is still against our better judgement to allow a topic like this to continue and give this information to someone who could use it for purposes that can harm or hurt others.
