Question RECOVERING OUTLOOK 2k3 ADDRESS BOOK FILES

Okay, I know how to find MS Outlook mail files , but now I need to find where the MS OUTLOOK ADDRESS or CONTACT are phsically stored on the hard drive.

The customer have some important emails and email contacts on this computer. He is using OUTLOOK 2003. I need to find out where Windows Xp hides the files that stores his emails and his contract list.

I will also need tips on restoring them

Could you please help.

Thank you.

They are stored as *.wab files. There are many files that contain wab in the file name and they are 9 times out of 10 involved in the address book, but the actual contacts themselves are stored in the username.wab

if you want to store address, then you can export them, later to be opened on same machine or any other location in outlook.

if you want to save mails, then they are stored in application data> microsoft> and Outlook folder.
