Default Recommend software for burning disc's

I have a friend with a Dell laptop that she bought for school, and needs burning software. Long story short, her dad bought it from this jacked up store.... they sold it with ALL SORTS of malware & spyware on it, couldn't even access any of the admin priveladges.... no system restore partition, no system restore disc.... I got Windows XP fresh install for her with the CD Key on the laptop, but of course, this wasn't the Dell packaged one, it was just a clean install from an XP disc. Can anyone recommend a freeware software for burning disc's?

Not sure it if will do DVD's, but it def. does CD's, and READS DVD's... Thanks all.

CDBunerXP and ImgBurn

The Official ImgBurn Website
CDBurnerXP: Introduction and News

ImgBurn can do everything. From ISO to data discs. CDBurnerXP is a free replacement for Nero Burning ROM.

I'd recommend Magic ISO personally for burning disc images.

Hopefully they are pretty user friendly.... They are for a friend that isn't really technical, just for backups, and putting home vids on disc and such.

ImgBurn is very easy to use. Has a wizard right at the beginning asking what the user wants to do. CDBurnerXP is a bit more difficult. Kinda like Nero Burning ROM.
