Ok so I reloaded my machine with xp pro, wiped the c drive and started over fresh. I got all my drivers loaded and evreything patched but now it seems to be running dog slow. When I try to move a window around it just stutters and runs my cpu up to 100%. It didnt do this before I re-loaded so I am kind of confused as to why a fresh load would do this. I tried changing the performace settings to best performance, and everythign but still no go. I ran spyware detection in safe mode and nothing popped up. Any advice?

I am running 1 gig of corsair, lanparty Ultra 4 mb, amd athlon 64 3500 proc, and 7900gt vid card.
