random folders on my c drive

its not really an issue i was just wondering if anyone really knew what these were. i've seen them before on previous installs on my computer but there are 3 folders on my c drive with random numbers and letters for example "3c1d5fac32f897261e62f89f"...

any idea what these are for? can i delete them?

Those are folders created by Windows Update. They can be deleted.
