Default Random ASCII character on right click

Does anyone know why my right click options "open" and "explore" has been replaced with these random ascii characters? This only happens when right clicking my c drive. See screenshot below

My folders and cd drives have normal right click options.

Get a application called FileMenuTools.

FileMenu Tools

That should help fix this. Just remove unwanted entries.

Mak, I just tried that, and it didn't have the entries that were already there available for removal.

Try ShellExView is what he posted doesn't work for you.

FileMenuTools will work. You have to check every option. It is in there. I have used this for almsot 8 months to remove right click entries.

Ah, aplogies then. I just downloaded it to see if it was better than ShellEx, I didn't delve to deep into it. IE I looked at the first screen

I installed this program, but I only see options to remove entries. I don't really want to remove the entry but replace the werid ACSCII entries back with "open" and "explore" which is what they're pointing to now but just with those werid characters.

Ahh. Sorry didnt realize you wanted that. You might be able to do that with FileMenuTools. But i think this will require more of a Registry search to find which entries are buggered.
