can I change the directory where all the crap that goes to c:\windows\installer to some other drive? My c drive is small compared to my massive e drive and I'd rather have my e drive handle all the windows installer stuff.
If anything there may be a registry hack. I am not sure if you can even tweak this Environment Variable..See if you can maybe create a new variable via the System Properties>Advanced Tab. At a quick glance I didnt see anything for the installer, but there you could point all your other temp locations to your larger hard drive...
Wait I just looked in my Windows folder and I dont have a C:\Windows\installer folder..weird..
